About the Founder
Alexandra Kile, MSN, FNP-BC, PMH-CÂ
I'm Alexandra Kile, a Family Nurse Practitioner providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for women navigating postpartum recovery, perimenopause and menopause, and sustainable weight health.
My commitment to this work didn’t begin as a calling — it evolved through clinical practice and personal experience, shaping the way I care for women today.
My Path Into Women’s Health
I began my career on Labor & Delivery at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, where I supported women through birth and acute medical care. At that stage, my focus was on physiology, safety, and outcomes — the traditional priorities of modern obstetrics.
After earning my Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from New York University, I began caring for women more longitudinally. It was during my work as an NP that I started to see a pattern: women struggling after major hormonal transitions — especially postpartum — were often under-supported, rushed, or told what they were experiencing was simply “part of it.”
Then I experienced postpartum anxiety myself.
That combination — clinical exposure and lived experience — fundamentally changed how I practiced. I understood, in a deeper way, how disorienting intrusive thoughts, persistent worry, sleep disruption, and hormonal shifts can feel, and how powerful it is to be truly heard by a clinician.
Advanced Training & Focus
To better serve women through these transitions, I pursued certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) and completed advanced lactation training, allowing me to support both the emotional and physical aspects of postpartum care.
Over time, this work naturally expanded into perimenopause, menopause, and weight-related concerns, where many women experience similar themes: hormonal shifts, metabolic changes, mood disruption, and frustration with care that feels fragmented or dismissive.
My Philosophy
I believe women deserve care that is:
-
Evidence-based, not rushed
-
Integrated across mind and body
-
Rooted in listening and partnership
Whether you’re newly postpartum, navigating midlife hormonal changes, or ready for a more sustainable approach to weight and wellness, my goal is to help you feel grounded, supported, and confident in your care.
